Hythe Research is hiring a part-time Business Development Associate to join our growing team in the Havre de Grace/Aberdeen, MD area. This position will play an integral role in helping the organization grow through tracking action items, meeting/event coordination, and researching potential business opportunities. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a professional and friendly demeanor. What you’ll be doing
- Research, coordinate, and track business development opportunities
- Assist senior team with tracking action items and project deliverables

Hythe Research is hiring an entry-level Security Officer to organize and oversee all security operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.

Responsibilities
- Manage security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Develop, update, and administer security related training programs
- Maintain security accounts
- Administer personnel clearances to include coordination of clearances, indoctrination, and visit requests
- Initiate, review, and send new and periodic investigations
- Coordinate fingerprinting
- Attend meetings to determine operational needs and assess security compliance
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events

Responsibilities
- While working in a team environment, provide ongoing logistical support on large Government project
- Provide inventory and purchasing support for systems and components
- Identify spare parts status and develop sparing levels for critical components

The Recruiter will act as a brand ambassador for the company and will often establish the first impression for candidates. This position will assist the management team and candidates so the hiring process can run smoothly and successfully.

Responsibilities
- Source candidates through referrals, events, and online.
- Post job ads on professional sites, job sites, and social media
- Assist teams in screening resumes
- Conduct initial phone screens
- Schedule calls and interviews
- Manage calendar for all hiring teams and candidates
- Communicate with candidates promptly and assist them when they come in for interviews
- Send out emails (e.g. confirming receipt of applications, rejection emails) and assist with paperwork (e.g. offer letters)

Junior Software Engineer
Hythe Research is hiring a Junior Software Engineer who will create and manage all aspects of detailed software systems based upon documented requirements. He or she will review bugs and test software to ensure compliance to requirements while thoroughly documenting all results. They will add their unique input to multiple integrated software components and will provide guidance and insight regarding hardware/software trade-offs. The successful candidate will be able to discuss the pros and cons of software reuse versus new development and will carry out requirements analysis and synthesis for individual components, all while considering the holistic integration of components as the system requires.
